• The Urana IGA Supermarket stocks a comprehensive range of food, drink and other goods.
• Urana Takeaway and Newsagency offers a broad range of sit down meals, or food to go.
• The General Stores at Oaklands and Rand provide a broad choice of essential items.
• Fuels, oils and motor vehicle repairs are available in both Oaklands and Urana.  Open weekdays only.
• Public telephone service is provided in each of the towns and villages of the Shire.
• Banking and Post Office facilities are available at Urana and Oaklands. Rand and Boree Creek have Post Office Agencies.
• Public toilet facilities are available in all towns and villages throughout the Shire.
